A 97-year-old man danced to “Stayin’ Alive” at his own birthday party. Moments later, he passed away surrounded by the people he loved.
His name was Vito, and he knew how to enjoy life right up until the very end.
The California man celebrated his 97th birthday with a Halloween-themed party, complete with music, dancing, friends, and a homemade chocolate cake.
In a video that’s now going viral, Vito can be seen smiling, clapping, and dancing along to the Bee Gees’ classic “Stayin’ Alive.”
When a neighbor asked him the secret to living so long, his answer was priceless:
“Never drink cheap liquor.”
Sadly, shortly after everyone sang Happy Birthday, Vito unexpectedly passed away.
His neighbor described it as a dramatic exit, but said she was grateful he spent his final moments celebrating with people who loved him.
And there’s something incredibly touching about that.
97 years of life, one last birthday cake, one last dance, and a room full of love.
