Céline Dion delivered one of the most emotional moments of her comeback when she tackled “All By Myself” during her first full arena concert in more than six years.
During the song’s famous climax, Dion briefly performed the demanding “anymore” passage completely a cappella, leaving her voice exposed before the orchestra swept back in behind her.
According to Le Monde, Dion carried the section on her own and reached the song’s signature high note, drawing a huge reaction from the crowd.
The performance came on September 12, 2026, during the opening night of her residency at Plenitude Arena in Nanterre, just outside Paris.
The concert marked Dion’s first complete public show since March 8, 2020, before the pandemic and health issues brought her touring schedule to a halt.
Dion revealed in 2022 that she had been diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, making her return to a full two-hour concert especially significant.
She performed a reported 25-song bilingual set featuring hits including “The Power of Love,” “Pour que tu m’aimes encore” and “My Heart Will Go On.”
Fans quickly shared clips of the performance online, with many expressing disbelief that Dion was once again singing one of the most difficult songs in her catalog live.
One viewer wrote: “I never thought I’d hear her sing this again.”
After years away from full concerts, Céline Dion didn’t choose an easy song for her return.
She chose “All By Myself.”
